Eagle Scout Project Benefits Karen's Garden
This summer a new leaf corral was added to the garden area. This amazing structure was completed by Nathan as his Eagle Scout Project.
The leaf bin will be filled with leaves in the fall to be used when we add it with the vegetable waste from the kitchens and dining rooms. Having a corral this size offers us a better place to keep the dry leaves and a convenient location to the composting area. It is sturdy and built with concrete footings and cedar lumber. This will last a long time! Thanks Nathan!
